SINAÏ, EGYPT
A short film impression created for an organization called Livethebedouinlife. It’s a personal story of what it’s like to travel for 7 days with a group of men as a part of a local tribe, in the South Sinai desert of Egypt. Unfortunately, the leader of the tribe - also co-founder of the organization - passed away very recently. The group excursions his tribe offers is a means of survival for his family and his people but also helps preserve the land he left behind.
This is a document to support this cause.

BENSY
This documentary was a part of a project called ‘Soldaten Van Oranje’, spearheaded by Dhr. Dr. J.D.A. de Jong who is a professor in Criminology at the University of Applied Science. It tells the story of underserved youth for which the Dutch government has no clear solution. They end up with brothers Nordin and Said Benselam who shelter difficult ‘cases’ and apply different educational methods which seem to be surprisingly successful.
The short version of this film was premiered at Hogeschool Leiden and is still seeking further funding and the proper momentum.
